Michael, WT_DUPLICATE_KEY appears in 5 places in schema/schema_create.c: I'm pretty sure this check can go away in __create_file and __create_data_source, but it's still a necessary check for tables, indexes and column-group creates? I'd make the change but I'm not 100% sure on the latter.
