Developed a flexible new Python-based tool for performance tests (wtperf_run.py), and migrated an initial set of performance tests to Evergreen.
The existing Jenkins “wiredtiger-test-check-long” job use wtperf_run.sh and wtperf_track.sh scripts to track performance data across build requests. These scripts rely on persistent file storage in Jenkins environment to track the execution statistics from previous build runs. The objective of this task is to create a Python version of these scripts to work with the Evergreen platform.
