Fix silent failures of Evergreen test/format tasks

      The set of format test tasks running in Evergreen reported no failures (showing green) these days (one example). However, by checking into the log file there were failures running setsid command.

      $ cat RUNDIR.3333.log
setsid: failed to execute SEGFAULT_SIGNALS=all: No such file or directory

      We need to understand the reason and fix the silent failures.
