Wrong error message on missing WiredTiger directory

      If I call wiredtiger_open with a directory that is missing, I see the following:

      Unable to find source-code formatter for language: statistics. Available languages are: actionscript, ada, applescript, bash, c, c#, c++, cpp, css, erlang, go, groovy, haskell, html, java, javascript, js, json, lua, none, nyan, objc, perl, php, python, r, rainbow, ruby, scala, sh, sql, swift, visualbasic, xml, yaml
       failed to open log file.

      The error message should be (and used to be) more helpful.

      To reproduce you can run:

      Unable to find source-code formatter for language: wtperf. Available languages are: actionscript, ada, applescript, bash, c, c#, c++, cpp, css, erlang, go, groovy, haskell, html, java, javascript, js, json, lua, none, nyan, objc, perl, php, python, r, rainbow, ruby, scala, sh, sql, swift, visualbasic, xml, yaml
