In the failures we've seen for WT-5916, we'll see simply:

test_timestamp_abort: FAILED: shadow search failure: WT_NOTFOUND: item not found 

but there are often many more inconsistency errors.  Also, it's sometimes helpful to see the key, and this error does not show it.
