In WT-6509 we noticed with ibench insert workload that almost all the pages are marked to be evicted soon. This forces all the pages to have the same evict-soon score, effectively disabling eviction's LRU scheme. All the candidates are then selected to be evicted, rather than the one-third older. We will like to investigate why are all pages marked to be evicted soon and if we can do better and get LRU eviction to work in this case.
