Summary
A pull request has been submitted that adds support for the LoongArch64 architecture. Evaluate the feasibility of merging the changes into WiredTiger

Motivation
There is a PR submission for adding the support for the LoongArch64 architecture. Though the change itself is very thorough and passes the PR testing, we need to evaluate whether or not to proceed with the change. The team lacks the familiarity and there is a lack of documentation around the LoongArch64 architecture. Also, we do not have any test infrastructure available to be added to the continuous testing.

We will use this ticket to evaluate any concerns in adding the support and if agreed to add, bring the change up to the merge requirements.

We have an answer to whether or not to proceed with merging the change. If we decide to proceed the change has been updated to the merge requirements.

  Not clear - since there is no infrastructure access to LoongArch64.
