After modifying the Python tests to add tiered calls via hook_tiered.py, if we have less than complete testing of (especially the durable history) python tests, we should consider some alternatives - for example, additional csuite or cppsuite tests that can be written/enhanced to cover DH testing along with tiered storage. This would be an investigation ticket that might result in more tickets. The scope of this could be expanded beyond DH.
