Compass mac os application does not connect to atlas cluster

      After I fill in the fields to connect to mongodb atlas cluster and press the connect button, the compass keeps showing a green loading bar on the top of application and never connects to the cluster. Image attached.

      Tried connecting using various mongoDB Compass version
