While viewing a collection, rapidly clicking the "Delete" button will let the user delete more than 1 item per flag. 

My guess on the reason is that the flag for deletion is based on position, and that the flag is toggled back after the deletion occurs, meaning that the item next in line is flagged for deletion, and can immediately be deleted.
