Does running Compass on CentOS7 / RHEL 7 / Red Hat 7 require --no-sandbox option to run?

      After downloading Compass to Vagrant running CentOS7, Compass would not run unless the --no-sandbox option was used.

       

      mongodb-compass --no-sandbox

       

      The error is "[3526:0212/211700.302011:FATAL:atom_man_delegate.cc(210)] Running as root without --no-sandbox is not supported. See https://crbug.com/63180.
