Problem Statement/Rationale

When opening new collection views and selecting "table mode", opening a new tab with another collection doesn't remember the view mode selected. 

Steps to Reproduce

Open a new collection tab, change the view mode, open a second tab, check that view mode is not kept

Expected Results

Table mode is still displayed in next tabs opened

Actual Results

Going back to list mode

Additional Notes

Not sure if this is on purpose, but using table mode 99% of the time this is really time consuming.
