      Summary

      The performance benchmarking spec doesn't currently document how to handle testing the benchmarks on official and pre-release server versions. Either in the spec or the wiki, it might be useful to have a centralized guide on how to go about benchmarking new drivers features that rely on pre-release server versions, bumping the server versions of existing perftest tasks, and more.
