      Pre-modules versions of Go can enforce import path checking based on the "import comment" (e.g. in uuid.go). However, import path checking is disabled if modules are enabled, so these comments are vestigial because we require Go 1.18+ for Go Driver v2.0.

      Definition of done:

      • Remove all vestigial "import comments" from the Go Driver BSON library.

      See GODRIVER-2392 for the ticket for removing import comments from the rest of the Go driver.
