      The way retries are implemented makes it difficult for us to adapting to the specification changes that are concerning retries. Introduction of the RetryPolicy abstraction is intended to simplify that.

      This change is really for JAVA-5956, JAVA-6117, JAVA-6113, JAVA-6119, JAVA-6141. But to avoid further manipulations with that many tickets, the work will be tracked in this new ticket.
