      We decided to defer this task to the upcoming packaging epic so for the time being it would be good to mention in the docs that mongosh installed with homebrew does not support automatic FLE encryption.

      We decided to defer this task to the upcoming packaging epic so for the time being it would be good to mention in the docs that mongosh installed with homebrew does not support automatic FLE encryption.

      Decide whether we want to ship mongocryptd in the homebrew package (problem: we can’t ship non-free code in the core homebrew tap, only in mongodb’s own tap), and if we want to, figure out how to do that (ship mongocryptd + license files).
