Remove support for PHP 5.5

      Similar justifications to removing support for PHP 5.5 from the extension (see: PHPC-1377). Additionally, dropping PHP 5.5 in the extension would allow the library to rely on features introduced in 5.6 (e.g. variadic function improvements, use importing for functions).
