      Summary

What is the problem or use case, what are we trying to achieve?

We do not currently have application/code examples for PHPLIB and this makes it harder for new users to get started.

      Motivation

Who is the affected end user?

      Who are the stakeholders?

      Developers new to the PHPLIB

How does this affect the end user?

Are they blocked? Are they annoyed? Are they confused?

Developers struggle to find examples for our stuff and end up resorting to searching around Google for information

How likely is it that this problem or use case will occur?

      Main path? Edge case?

If the problem does occur, what are the consequences and how severe are they?

Minor annoyance at a log message? Performance concern? Outage/unavailability? Failover can't complete?

Users might get frustrated if they can't find official examples and end up going off of a random blog post on the internet that doesn't work for them and then choose not to use us due to their frustration

      Is this issue urgent?

Does this ticket have a required timeline? What is it?

Looking to do this sometime in FY23Q3

Is this ticket required by a downstream team?

Needed by e.g. Atlas, Shell, Compass?

      No

Is this ticket only for tests?

Is this ticket have any functional impact, or is it just test improvements?

No, it is app code examples
