Importing this Release related ticket for the 8.2 release in anticipation of the 8.2 release being available on-prem. Server Release team may close if not needed.

Immediately after branching for a major release (e.g 8.0, 9.0, etc), on the master branch of 10gen/mongo do the following in backports_required_for_multiversion_tests.yml:
- Under “last-continuous” and “last-lts” delete everything between “all:” and “suites: null”
NOTE: this should be done after the FCV changes have landed on master
