SERVER-67886 added duration metrics for the SASL conversation that happens on the ingress/server side. It'd be helpful to also collect and log the same metrics on the SASL steps that happen on the egress/client side, especially when diagnosing slow connection establishment due to internal auth being performed in a mongos.
