~~SERVER-115651~~ introduced the ability to do this, but hard-codes cluster_aggregate.cpp to only serialize the featureFlagVectorSearchExtension for the introduction of this mechanism.

If this goes well in for the 8.3 rollout, we could consider adding a new field to flags to opt-in to serialization on outgoing requests.
