Currently the ChunkMap operates under the assumption that the entire set of chunks is contiguous and offers a complete view of the collection's sharding metadata.

However, we want to ensure ChunkMap can work with a partial set of chunks in order to support operating with the subset of chunks present on the shard for filtering purposes.
