Update the $readNDocuments test extension so it (1) produces $score only when the pipeline suffix references it via the new dependency-analysis API and (2) implements shard targeting by returning a filter predicate via get_filter() and verifying targeting via profiler / agg_shard_targeted-style assertions; this validates extension-side metadata dependency and shard-targeting behavior end-to-end before wiring into real $search.
