SERVER-119610 made it so that by default the chunk indexes are equal to what's used in the global catalog. However, we don't know if we actually need all of those indexes nor if we need a different set altogether.
For example, SERVER-122633 turned out to need an index on just the shard + onCurrentShardSince fields which cannot use any of the indexes that are used for the global chunks collection.
