We're writing non-PIT and PIT sharded cluster magic restore tests in SERVER-87406 and SERVER-87407. We should exercise the shard rename capability in these tests.
If it's cleaner to write fully separate tests for this, we can do that too, since we'll be making assertions about a lot of sharding metadata.
