Avoid hardcoding toolchain prefix in build scripts

      We will have to change the `/v4/` appearances to `/v5/` in order to build with v5. We have had to do this in several places every time we want to upgrade tools. It would be very beneficial to remove this hardcoding in favor of a symbolic alias for the toolchain path prefix.
