This ticket involves replacing where we use the `data-service` package with calls straight to the mongodb driver from vscode. We aren't really using any of the data-service's wrapper functions around the driver, and probably would be better off just talking to the driver and being able to take advantage of the typescript parity. Bump to driver 4.0.0 beta if simple enough
