      In VSCODE-453, and as a follow-up to COMPASS-5490, we kept using the legacy convertConnectionModelToInfo() method inside the VSCode extension.

      Assuming that we are ready to migrate away from this now, we should do so, and remove all dependencies on older versions of Compass packages.
