WT-10949 has given a temporary solution to MongoDB to perform a truncate operation without timestamp and added a FIXME comment of WT-10887 to provide a general solution.

Later MongoDB changed its approach to using truncate operation with timestamps instead of without timestamps leading to a situation where WT-10887 is no longer required. The WT-10887 ticket was closed with the context information without removing the FIXME comment.

As part of this ticket, remove the outdated FIXME comment from WT-10887 as we no longer implement a general approach and the temporary fix will be reverted once the MongoDB has switched to timestamps for a truncate operation in a separate ticket.
