We have seen several checksum mismatches in failed evergreen tests that we root caused to single bit flips, probably caused by faulty hardware. See WT-10509, WT-11397, and WT-12573.

To help with analyzing similar issues in the future, it would be useful to have a program that can take a block of data and determine whether changing a single bit would product the expected checksum.
