Evergreen CI supports a feature to tag variants which will be useful to assist setting up patch aliases for easy of patch creation. An example use case is to create a patch build to run all pull request tests.
We should tag WT build variants in evergreen.yml for a few categories, e.g. pull_request, perf, sanitizers.
