Many applications have some tables that they want to be given a higher priority for cache usage than others. The classic example is an application that maintains their own indexes and wants to be sure that an index lookup doesn't require a disk read.
We don't provide any mechanism to allow applications to influence our eviction behavior, and our current eviction algorithm gathers candidates from open tables equally.
