      Our current WT testing regime includes some tests upgrade/downgrade scenario. However, our current understanding is that these scenarios do not take into account unclean shutdown or crashes during startups and shutdowns.

      The aim of this ticket is to verify these claims and identify how crash testing can enhance the current capability of the upgrade/downgrade tests.
