Hardware-assisted AddressSanitizer (or HWASAN) is a tool similar to AddressSanitizer, but based on partial hardware assistance.

I was wondering if we should look into it to see if it could add some benefits to our testing.

In WT-8946, we found that the usage of ASan could trigger OOM issues on ARM and it would be great to check if using HWASAN could mitigate this.
