      Version is 1.23.0-Beta.2 (Not reflected in Jira's "Affects Version/s" field as a choice.

      In mongosh, after adding a simple document, the id key is displayed as <Buffer 5f 88 a2 d4 05 06 86 28 97 33 5c 5b>". This needs to be confirmed the value has stayed true. See image.
