Currently, all tests using disagg.mode=leader are running only under a single FE variant: Failure Expected (ARMV9) Amazon 2023 Disagg Stress Tests.

We have observed that for PALite, these tests have been consistently passing. This suggests that the leader-mode tests may now be stable enough to expand across evergreen variants.

This ticket aims to validate and integrate test/format (disagg.mode=leader) testing across variants similar to follower-mode tests.

The task includes

• format-stress-data-validation-test-disagg-leader-palite-*
• format-stress-test-disagg-leader-palite-*

Outcome:

• Confirm leader-mode stability,
• Integrate tests into normal variants, and
• Create PR smoke tests for both Leader and Follower modes.
