This ticket should list all the FIXME comments that are associated with a ticket that is now closed.

For each of these comments, remove the FIXME comment if no action is required, otherwise create a new ticket and update the FIXME comment.

Tickets with stale FIXME comments:

• WT-3918: Update the number to WT-3682 and add the FIXME label in the comment.
• WT-5270: Fixed as part of WT-8500.

• WT-6124: As discussed in WT-6124, it is safe to remove the FIXME comment. 

• WT-6263: The FIXME comments were removed as part of WT-8572.
• WT-6819: Update the ticket number to WT-8590.
• WT-7510: Update the ticket number to WT-7418.

• WT-7538: Update the ticket number to WT-7731.
