      The WT_ASSERT macro in WiredTiger does work in HAVE_DIAGNOSTIC builds, but not in other circumstances.

      We should review all WT_ASSERT statements in the reconciliation code (src/reconcile) and adjust them to either cause a panic, or output more information in a release build where appropriate.
